Emily & Cory

  • Ceremony & Reception: Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, IN
  • Portraits: Lincoln Tower & Wells Street Bridge
  • Month: May
  • Style: Romantic

Emily and Cory's wedding was all about personalized wedding details. Emily was in her element when it came to wedding planning. She chose some of the area's best vendors and ensured that every piece of their big day had meaning to her and Cory.

A lot of the details were in memory of Emily's father. Their invitations and portraits revolved around the Wells Street Bridge, where Emily's parents used to bike to on a regular basis. A vintage bike was used to hold the programs for the wedding ceremony. The escort cards were tiny elephants, which was her father's favorite animal. The bouquet Emily carried was made of peonies, which grew in the backyard of her childhood home.

The staff at A Party Apart and Be Married completely transformed the ballroom at the Grand Wayne Center into a warm and elegant atmosphere. Candles filled the room and hung from the ceiling, along with greenery and balls of twinkling lights. Every guest at Emily and Cory's wedding felt like the event perfectly exemplified them as a couple.
