Some of my favorite weddings are ones where everything takes place in one location. The bride and groom (and everyone else) always seem so much more laid back, and it gives us ample opportunity to duck away and take some great portraits.
Amanda and Brandon’s wedding had all that, plus some really great candid moments, like Amanda’s dad seeing her for the first time, the bridesmaids freaking out about the goats, and the groomsmen getting emotional during toasts.

After a 6 hour day of shooting, I went to say goodbye to Stephania and Adam while they were hanging out on the dance floor. I told them, “this has been the most laid back wedding I’ve ever been apart of.” And I meant it.
While “laid back” can often result in running behind schedule, that wasn’t the case for Stephania and Adam’s wedding. The amazing crew at Empyrean made sure that every second of the day went off without a hitch, and that the Bride and Groom and all their guests were able to enjoy their day to the fullest, without stressing about a single detail.
It was a true pleasure to be a part of Stephania and Adam’s big day. I wish them nothing but the best as they start their lives together!
